Years after family portraits, our now grown family had the great pleasure of returning to Jamie for professional headshots (teens to late adult). The photos were again beyond expectations! Jamie’s headshot work is as spectacular as her legendary portrait work that adorns walls across the world. During the session, everything felt natural as she deftly catered to the needs of each family member, whether a subject or nosy bystander. Nothing felt forced or artificial since Jamie immediately put each person at ease and into the groove for the session. Jamie‘s eye for detail & composition (and her love of eyes) captures personality. That artistry embodies one’s headshot with the ability to immediately communicate charisma and individuality, elements missing from work by others but important for piquing the interest of the target viewing audience. (First impressions truly are everything.) Like the portrait work, spirit and happiness are qualities that came to mind when reviewing the headshots. Clearly professional appearing yet natural looking results. Jamie’s professional studio process was highly detailed and nuanced. Yet, the session’s atmosphere was relaxed and fun. Her communication was outstanding, and her preparatory information & tips (make-up, hair, wardrobe) were extremely helpful for us novices. A make up artist is available on request. Jamie has always been an excellent listener who is polished, warm, and extraordinarily friendly. She’s a happy person who cares deeply about you. And that helps Jamie be a legend and the consummate professional photographer.

Jamie 's photographs of our daughter's Bat Mitzvah are already an extraordinary montage of images that I know will become part of our family history for future generations! Jamie was able to come into both our synagogue and our home and help think through the best settings ,lighting and placement to photograph individual, family and candid shots that are now gorgeous pictures that truly captured the spirit of the people and the event.
